A resonant growl. A wink. A sophisticated smile. Arge O’Neal’s sound is like a sheepdog in a quirky collar – trustworthy, friendly, playful and full of humour. Arge has over 25 years of experience in front of and behind the mic as a voice actor, and as an award winning television editor. His creative and technical background lends a distinct deftness to his VO work – he’s got a strong commanding voice and has the technical expertise to deliver any client’s vision.

As an undergraduate at Yale and a graduate student at UCLA, Arge trained in acting and film production. As a member of the American Cinema Editors, he went on to edit such shows as, “The West Wing,” “Monk,” “House, M.D.,” “The Crazy Ones,” “You’re the Worst,” “Minx,” and “Goliath.” Wherever he went, he brought his voice-over acting talents with him to the cutting room and it wasn’t long before his voice began appearing in shows. From booming announcers on mock reality television dance shows, to the sounds of a spiritually animated toy monkey, Arge has played the gamut.

As an television editor Arge is well practiced at delivering under tight deadlines and the technical excellence to make your vision a reality. As a voice-over artist he brings fun and enthusiasm to the booth, enjoys taking direction, exploring, working collaboratively and infusing each project with his own unbridled charm.

Arge lives in the hills overlooking Los Angeles and is available locally or can work from his professional-grade home studio equipped with fiber-optic access to Source Connect, ISDN, Zoom and Evercast. Outside of VO, Arge is a fluent Irish language speaker, who teaches An Ghaeilge out of a love for the culture. His dream is to someday voice an Irish speaking character.
